Jesus came that we might see. That we might see ourselves and others as God would have us to. That we might see the terrible consequences of sin and the great love and compassion God has for us. That we might see the great need around us.
Jesus came to the Pharisee and rebuked his self-righteousness. He came to the woman at the well and offered her living water. He came to the hungry and offered him a seat at His table. He came that we might see and by seeing we might humble ourselves, repent and turn to Him. May our eyes be open to His great love for us.
