You just have to Wait

You just have to Wait
Some time ago, after diligently seeking the Lord for a word,my heart was brought to this passage..
Psa 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Psa 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. God said so plainly to me that day in prayer WAIT.

Patience has never been a strong virtue of mine.
I once heard a wise man say,God is not concern so much with time as he is timing.
This divine plan of waiting, is seen through out the Scriptures.

I see it in the life of Abraham, concerning Gods promise of a son. It came to pass but in God's timing.
I see it showing itself in Joseph and his Dream. It came to pass, but again, only in God's time.
One that's overlooked at times, was the worked that Christ came to do.
Luk 12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
This baptism was His sufferings. He was in a straight or apprehensive as he waited for this time of his suffering.

(As a mother longing for the birth of her child, yet dreads the labor, but longs for it to be over. )
He waited for His time according to His Father's will.
Galatians 4:4-5 tells us When the fullness of time was come, God sent his Son to redeem them that were under the law..

So we see waiting is a large part of God's plan for our lives. We should not be troubled or alarmed, if we too are called upon to wait. It's apart of the plan.

To wait for:
1. Our Prayers to be Answered:
2. God's Promises to be Fulfilled:
3. The Work we are in to produce:
The poet said,
Some glorious morn—but when? Ah, who will say?
The steepest mountain will become a plain,
And the parched land be satisfied with rain.
The gates of brass all broken; iron bars,
Transfigured, form a ladder to the stars.
Rough places plain, and crooked ways all straight,
For him who with a patient heart can wait.
These things will be on God's appointed day:
It may not be tomorrow—yet it may.
