Stay married

Mark 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

The beauty of marriage is that God made marriage. He makes marriage. He joins us together. The lesson here is to realize that my marriage is more than an accident. God, somehow, unbeknownst to me, has joined us to our spouses. If God has put us together, we are not to be divided.

Marriage should be honored and respected. Marriage is between and man and a woman. That is how God did it in the very first marriage in the Bible. It is how He created humans. Then somehow I met my wife. God brought us together. We fell in love. We decided to marry. I doubt that most considered that it was God putting them together but it was. That is how the verse reads. So let’s respect our marriage.

That means that today we work just a little harder to be the spouse we should be. It says that we love and accept the person that God has given us.

It means that we work through and out of the problems and not the marriage.
