He is precious

Unto you therefore which believe he is precious. 1 Peter 2:7

We hold dear that which is precious to us. We consider it to be of the greatest value. To a man dying of thirst, water is precious because nothing else will do. In the same way, to a man dying in sin Jesus is precious. To those of us who believe, He is the most precious gift in life.

I have a granddaughter who calls me “Her Precious Papa.” Her words reflect the love and value she places on me and our relationship.

 

Let us remember today, how precious Jesus is to us and let our words and actions reflect the love and value we place on Him as our Lord and Savior.
