Spring is the time of year when much of the country is more likely to have severe storms and tornados. For safety, people often construct storm shelters. During a storm, these shelters are a place of refuge unaffected by the strong winds

In all of our lives there will be storms. In Christ we have a refuge and fortress from the storms. Jesus taught a wise man will build his house upon the rock of God’s word. When the rains come and the winds blow and beat upon the house it will not fall, for it was founded upon a rock.
