IN Harmony life

In a singing group when one is off their note-it effects the other singers-ruins the harmony.

- May our ambitions-attitude-appearance-actions-

be a quartet that sings perfect harmony in our lives.

In Chains

Philippians 1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Paul was in jail because of his preaching. He had preached the gospel without fear. Now as he is in chains, he is glad that others are getting bolder to preach the gospel. His suffering helped them not to be afraid.
We should not be afraid of the world when it comes to sharing the gospel. There is little that they can do to us. What they do should cause us to speak out more boldly than ever.
Your example will challenge others. You facing your fears helps others overcome their own.

God's word today 13th

Hello again everybody,

On this Wednesday 13th, I found these words from the Book of Johns Gospel in New Testament.

Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them [a]to the end. During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God, *got up from supper, and *laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He girded Himself. John Chapter 13

And from the Old Testament, we read:
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. v6 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. Psa.13:5-6
Wednesday Psalm

I believe God has some message and some words for us each day of the month. Will you search for it today??

May God bless you with reading of His word on this 13th day of the month.

Do something for Him

And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. Matt: 9:9
Most of us like the familiar and the comfortable. Sometimes, we are challenged to leave our comfort zone and do something different. This was such a time for Matthew. The Bible records he was a man, just a man, with the same strengths and weaknesses we all have. He was a tax collector and a servant of Rome.
Jesus saw him and said to him, “Follow me.” A challenge to leave the comfortable. An invitation to become part of a great adventure. Matthew arose and followed Jesus and as a result his life was changed forever. Jesus ask each of us to follow Him.

How will we respond?

Follow Jesus

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Years ago, several members of our family took a trip to Washington. None of us had made the trip before. We were in the last car following those in front. When you are following someone, you are depending on them to take you in the right direction. In this case, they made a wrong turn and so did we.
Jesus was talking to His disciples about going to Heaven. Phillip ask, “how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way.” When we follow Jesus, we do not have to worry about getting lost. He will always lead us in the right direction. If Heaven is your desired destination, follow Jesus.

He will lead you there.

Feasting on the Word

( Will share, copied and pasted, but again, that's what this blog is all about )

1 Peter 2:2-3
Did you ever watch an infant take a feeding? Hungry little ones clutch the bottle, smack their lips, and make soft contented noises. They thoroughly enjoy their nourishment. But there comes a time when milk isn’t enough to satiate baby’s appetite anymore. That’s when a whole world of culinary possibilities opens up.

Comparing new believers to babies, Peter said that they “long for the pure milk of the word” (v. 2). You wouldn’t feed a newborn steak and spinach, would you? Well, baby Christians must sip scriptural truths that they understand. Then, like a growing child, they shoot up as they feast on Bible passages, gradually taking in more and meatier principles and topics.

Believers are not left alone to make sense of Scripture any more than babies and young children are expected to get their own meals. The Holy Spirit, who indwells God’s followers, illuminates the Word. That is, He makes the meaning clear to those who seek to understand. Moreover, according to Ephesians 4:11-16, God has given gifted Christians to the church to act as pastors and teachers.

They are charged with equipping the saints for service (v. 12). These leaders instruct, clarify, and motivate people to grow in their personal faith and to fulfill the church’s purpose of reaching the lost.
God’s Word is a feast for our heart, mind, and spirit. This is one banquet table where there is no such thing as taking too much. In fact, the advice many parents give their children at the dinner table applies to the Christian life as well: “Eat up!!"

Scriptural food makes you grow strong.
